John Tattersall is a highly regarded Action Learning and commercially oriented business coach, specialising in working with corporate teams and individuals within the private sector. He is also a well-respected NLP trainer and Master Practitioner of NLP with over 20 years’ experience in supporting the personal development of people.
If there is one thing that differentiates John from others in his field of expertise it is that he connects with people in their own space and works with them through their own ‘map of the world’ in terms of helping achieve breakthrough results in their businesses and personal lives.
John has a special interest in developing the Meta Model NLP methodology and using this to augment the remarkable power for problem solving and personal development uniquely delivered through Action Learning. Other areas of interest for John include helping people with demanding caring responsibilities cope through the use of NLP techniques and also helping young people in developing higher levels of self-esteem. He has a published article in the INLPTA magazine ‘NLP – A Methodology for Developing Higher Emotional Intelligence (EQ)’ December 2010.
His corporate achievements include the co-design and delivery of a breakthrough senior management development programme for an International Facilities Services company by combining the powerful tools within Action Learning, NLP and Transactional Analysis.
Other notable achievements include:
- Developing and delivering bespoke Service Excellence programmes for Bloomberg. Irwin Mitchell and Suffolk One sixth form college.
- Built an L&D team from scratch for a global FS company.
- Obtained UK Accredited Status from BIFM and set up a global Facilities Services training programme in FM management.
- Delivered keynote presentation on Talent Engagement for QCS in 2014, (London)
- Designed and implemented an Employee Engagement Programme for contracted staff at the Treasury.
John has an extensive background in talent development both within the UK and also on the global stage culminating in his last corporate role as Director of Learning & Talent Development – UK & Mainland Europe. He has held senior people development and HR positions with OCS, BAE Systems, Compass Group, Brake Brothers and Whitbread. John is a ‘Fellow’ of the CIPD and has an MBA from the Open University. John resides in the North West, (the wettest part) and travels extensively through work. He likes good coffee, the company of curious people and helping others make positive and lasting changes in their lives.
