The Science Behind the Pip

Electrodermal Activity

The Pip lets you see your body’s response to stress by measuring Electrodermal Activity (EDA) – changes in the skin’s ability to conduct an electrical current. This is done by holding the pip between your thumb and forefinger. When we’re faced with a stressful situation, our body’s “fight or flight” response is activated.
